Alison Hammond says Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield are ’too wild’ and such ‘hardcore party animals’ she sneaks home to avoid partying with them

HOLLY Willoughby and Phillip Schofield have been dubbed "too wild" and such "hardcore party animals," by their This Morning co-star Alison Hammond.

The duo who rise early to host the flagship morning show can also burn the candle at both ends occasionally, with Alison admitting that she sneaks home to avoid partying with them.

The pair are know to enjoy a knees up at the National TV Awards each year, where they enjoy a tipple and still go to work the next day to present their ITV show.

Alison said: "Nights out with them are brilliant – they love their drink!

"We've been on nights out with them where I have taken myself to bed at 2am, then found out the next day that Holly hasn't even been to sleep!

She told Closer: "They are hardcore. After the NTAs they usually end up at Ant and Dec's house playing the custard pie game."

Phil and Holly lived up to everyone's expectations by rocking up to work feeling worse for wear after partying until 4am after the National TV Awards last year.

For the second year in a row, the best friends appeared on screen a bit worse for wear after partying until the early hours at the biggest night in the TV calendar.

The year before they did not even manage to change their clothes and came straight to work in their party best.

“We have made it in, obviously, today,” said a sheepish Phillip after the awards last January.

He added: “We’ve made it in not in a brilliant condition to be truly honest but at least we are not wearing the same clothes.”

Holly noted they both had very hoarse voices this morning and there was a lot of “heavy breathing”.

Phillip then asked everyone to keep the noise levels down.
