Amy Schumer and Ben Hanisch have decided to end their relationship after a year and a half of dating, according to a report by People.
But despite the break-up, it seems like the pair are keen to remain friends,
In a short statement to Page Six, Amy’s representative said: “Amy and Ben have ended their relationship after thoughtful consideration and remain friends.”

Hanisch, on the other hand, decided not to comment on the situation, telling Radar Online: “I’m going to have to decline to comment. I’m just going to say no comment.”
The couple, who had been dating for 18 months, posted a loved-up Instagram picture just eleven days ago, where they seemed relaxed before the premiere for the blonde comedienne’s latest film Snatched.
However, it was noted that Hanisch did not attend the premiere itself, which led to speculation about the status of the pair’s relationship.

Just weeks ago, the 35 year old told E News that she had thought about having children.
“It changes for me sometimes. I’m like, ‘That would be amazing and I definitely want that’ and then other times, I’m like, ‘I don’t know’ and then there are so many options — there’s adoption, there’s your own. I don’t know,” she said.
Amy is currently appearing alongside silver screen icon Goldie Hawn in comedy film Snatched.

Earlier this month, both actors appeared on the Graham Norton show to promote the film, where they revealed their blossoming ‘mother daughter’ relationship.
When asked about their friendship, Goldie joked: “I think, as I look at Amy and I watch her, ‘She could’ve been my daughter. Could’ve been my daughter — would’ve been a trouble daughter.”
Snatched is out in UK cinemas now.
