Ant McPartlin enters ‘new stage in his relationship’ with Anne-Marie Corbett

Ant McPartlin flashed his girlfriend Anne-Marie Corbett the "look of love" as they touched down in London this morning.

The couple arrived back home hand-in-hand after spending the weekend in Newcastle with Ant’s parents.

Following his divorce from Lisa Armstrong last week, Ant and Anne-Mare’s body language is completely different – signalling a "new stage" in their relationship, according to body language expert Judi James.

"The body language in these poses does seem to announce a new stage in the relationship between Ant and Anne-Marie," Judi told Mirror Online.

"Firstly there is an almost tangible sense of relief in their facial expressions as they walk openly as a couple following Ant’s divorce."

She continued: "Previously they had appeared much more guarded, with Anne-Marie often adopting the kind of ‘background’ role that she’d taken proffessionaly in her role as his PR, looking watchful and supportive, but from behind him in most of his poses.

"Now she’s walking alongside or even a half-pace in front and they look comfortable using eye contact with one another and sharing the very obvious look of love that occurs as a result.

"This shared glance between them contains several good signs for a compatible relationship.

"Not only are the pair both adopting a rather teenage look with their casual clothes and matching beaming grins but they each seem to be making the other laugh here.

"As a result Ant looks more genuinely happy, confident and ‘Ant-ish’ than we’ve seen for a long time.

"Any less positive signals occur when they look away from each other. Ant’s slightly slumped-looking shoulders and the way his facial expression changes suggests he could still be suffering from the pressure of the past few months.

"He smiles but it looks like a performed smile, produced from bravado rather than genuine happiness.

"He pulls his eyebrows up high in his signature boyish grin but it creates etched lines across his forehead while his eyelids still look drooped, suggesting tiredness or tension.

"There is tension in Anne-Marie’s pose too. Once the mutual loving smiles are over her hands seem to ball into fists, hinting that she’s far from relaxed here and possibly still feeling the need to fight his corner."
