Ariana Grande has been left ‘broken’ following the terror attack at her concert [Wenn]
The I’m So Into You singer brought her Dangerous Woman world tour to Manchester on Monday, May 22 and unfortunately it ended in a tragic and terrible terror attack which has left 22 dead and 59 injured.
In what has been reported as a suspected terrorist attack involving a suicide bomber, witnesses have described scenes from Ariana Grande’s concert at Manchester Arena as “horrific”.
A statement released from Great Manchester Police confirmed on Twitter: “Just before 10:35pm on Monday 22 May 2017, police were called to reports of an explosion at Manchester Arena.
“This is currently being treated as a terrorist incident until police know otherwise.”

What happened at Ariana’s concert in Manchester?
Nothing has been confirmed yet but there have been reports of an explosion in the foyer of the arena at 10.30pm.
The area around the stadium remains in lockdown as authorities continue with their investigations.
British Transport Police said: “Officers are at Manchester Arena following reports of an explosion within the foyer area of the stadium at 10.30pm this evening.

“Emergency services are at the scene and we are working to establish more information regarding the explosion and will provide further updates as soon as possible.”

The attack is believed to have happened moments after the singer, aged 23, left the stage.
Upon hearing the news, Ariana tweeted: “broken. From the bottom of my heart, I am so so sorry. I don’t have words.”
The Side to Side singer has since suspended her world tour.

Celebrity tributes pour in
In an event that is close to many hearts, it wasn’t long before the likes of James Cordem, Rochelle Humes, Harry Styles and Taylor Swift sent their heartfelt messages.
Tweeting messages of support, Michelle Keegan wrote: “Horrendous news to wake upto… My heart goes out to everyone who has been effected by this terrible tragedy… I’m in shock. #Manchester.”
One Direction star Harry added: “I’m heartbroken over what happened in Manchester tonight.. Sending love to everyone involved. H.”
Ariana’s friend Taylor Swift added: “My thoughts, prayers and tears for all those affected by the Manchester tragedy tonight. I’m sending all my love.”

Following the attack in Manchester, plenty of safety checks, outside of police investigations, have been put in place.
Facebook has activated its safety check for people in the area to let friends and family know they are safe.
Local residents in Manchester also pulled together and tweeted #RoomforManchester for all those who needed a place to stay for the night following the concert attack.
