While viewers quickly learn that the sisters are like chalk and cheese, that doesn't stop the hotel staff and guests from getting the pair mixed up.
Glamorous Doreen makes her debut when she orders a sherry from barman Mateo (Jake Canuso), who mistakes her for coffee-ordering Doreen.
Quickly recognising her sister's voice, Noreen looks overjoyed as she turns to see her twin and the pair greet one another with a great big hug.
But it looks too much for Mateo to take in as he rubs his eyes and appears to get a little too excited at the sight of twins – even if they are in their eighties.
Doreen has been described as the "more upmarket, posh sister" who has also escaped to Benidorm for sun.
Viewers will soon learn that she also has a new younger boyfriend who will be introduced to viewers next week.
And show-makers have teased that Doreen's fancy man will in fact be somebody that fans already know.
The newcomer is of course also played by hilarious actress Elsie Kelly, 81, who has played Noreen Maltby since the show began way back in 2007.
For the first three series she holidayed at the Solana with her adult son Geoff, played by Johnny Vegas who told people she was his PA.
More recently she has appeared on the show with her alcoholic daughter Pauline who ensures there's never a dull moment.
Episode six of Benidorm airs tonight at 9pm on ITV.
