Johnny Galecki’s California home has been caught in a fire [G[G[Getty]gt;
The actor, who plays Leonard Hofstadter in the popular series, owns a ranch in California that was ravaged by a large blaze.
Johnny was not there at the time of the fire and he hasn’t returned to the location, which isn’t his primary residence, since.
In a statement, the 42 year old said: “My heart goes out to all in the area who are also experiencing loss from this vicious fire.

And if the people of Santa Margarita have taught me anything it’s that, once the smoke has cleared, literally and figuratively, it’s a time to reach out and rebuild.
“We’ve done it before and we’ll need to do it together again. And it will make our community even closer and stronger.”

The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection said that so far the fire has burned through 1,598 acres.
Two fires were initially reported but eventually merged into one. 250 people were evacuated from their homes.

TMZ reported that as soon a[Getty]oad closures around the ranch wer[Getty]d, Johnny would return to save whatever he could.
Johnny became a household name after joining the cast of American comedy The Big Bang Theory in 2007.
The series was recently renewed until 2019 with Johnny and his co-stars Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar making a massive $1 million (£800,000) per episode.
