Blake Lively has unveiled her dramatic four stone weight loss, revealing that it’s taken her 14 months to lose the 61lbs (4st 5lbs) she gained whilst pregnant with her second daughter.
The actress and her husband Ryan Reynolds welcomed little Ines on September 30, 2016, and on Monday Blake confirmed that after more than a year of hard work, she’s back to her pre-baby weight.
"Turns out you can’t lose the 61 lbs you gained during pregnancy by just scrolling through instragram and wondering why you don’t look like all the bikini models," she quipped on Instagram alongside of her very trim and toned self and personal trainer Don Saladino.
Thanks Don Saladion for kickin my A double S into shape. 10 months to gain, 14 months to lose. Feeling very proud," she continued.
And Don uploaded his own tribute, gushing, "Couldn’t be more proud Blake Lively! 61 pounds in 14 months after baby number 2! Doesn’t she look awesome?"
Blake, who also has four-year-old daughter James, previously admitted that she had to teach herself to ‘love’ her body after the birth of Ines.
"It’s all a process. You know after the second kid it’s really different. So this is not my normal body, but I like it," she told E! News.
"I’m learning to love my body in every iteration, and I think that’s hard for women, and so I learned a lot."
And having lost the weight at a sensible rate, she also previously spoke out against the pressure for mums to snap straight back.
“I think a woman’s body after having a baby is pretty amazing," she said.
“You don’t need to be Victoria’s Secret ready right away, because you just did the most incredible miracle that life has to offer. You gave birth to a human being. So I would really like to see that celebrated.”
