Of all the Coronation Street cast, Antony Cotton looks like the star who would have the most fun on a night out.
And he certainly proved that in style last night after letting his hair down at Kylie Minogue’s wild – and extremely boozy – 50th birthday celebrations.
The Princess of Pop took a bunch of her celebrity mates out to west London hotspot Chiltern Firehouse, where the Corrie actor quickly found himself worse for wear.
And when he eventually left at around 1.30am, the inevitable happened.
Yep, poor old Antony fell flat on his face while trying to clamber into his taxi home.
His concerned partner of 12 years, Peter Eccleston, looked on, but wasn’t strong enough to fight the powerful combination of gravity and many, many wines.
The seconds slowed down as Antony, in graceful freefall, tripped over his own feet and soared through the air to land on the grimy floor of the cab.
After managing (thanks to Peter) to get vaguely upright and inside the vehicle, red-faced Antony covered his eyes with his hand and cringed himself inside out.
He slumped in the back while his partner made sure he was OK – and presumably let the cabbie know where they were going.
Luckily for Antony, it’s not just a headache he’ll be waking up with this morning, as both blokes were given a customised Kylie goodie bag to take home with them.
Peter could be seen with his cream tote bag slung over his shoulder, with a giant KYLIE 50 emblazoned across it in black ink.
Let’s hope it contains some paracetamol – and maybe a Bloody Mary.
Antony and Peter weren’t the only famous faces helping Kylie celebrate her five decades of life – they were joined by a whole host of celebs, including Alan Carr, Graham Norton, Amanda Holden , Australian actor Guy Pearce, David Walliams and Kylie’s ex Jason Donovan.
Mel C, designer Patrick Cox, James Blunt and wife Sofia Wellesley were also snapped heading inside to celebrate with the pop star.
