Brendan Cole slams claims he’s banned from contacting hot dancer Jenna-Lee James

Brendan Cole has furiously denied claims he’s banned from contacting the woman he was seen cosying up to under a new marriage rule laid down by wife Zoe Hobbs.

The former Strictly Come Dancing professional, 42, was caught on camera with his hand on dancer Jenna Lee-James’ bottom last Friday, amid claims they’d grown close while on tour.

He and Jenna, 41, were said to have strengthened their friendship by staying up late while Brendan confided in her about the pressure of being away from Zoe and their two young children.

As a result, the Sun claims, angry Zoe has banned Brendan from contacting the gorgeous blonde at all, warning him that their friendship could spell the end of their eight-year marriage.

"The pair of them both want to work on their marriage and she believes it’s for the best," a source told the newspaper.

"Jenna is still protesting her innocence but Brendan would rather not bring the whole situation back up at the moment and is sticking to the rules."

This could sink his plans for a tour in the autumn, the insider said, as he’d drafted in Jenna to perform in it.

"Brendan was hoping to take All Night Long on a few more dates after the success of it this year," they added.

"But after last week’s events it’s unlikely Jenna will be on it."

However, Brendan’s rep has denied the claims that Zoe has imposed the zero-contact rule.

"There is absolutely no truth in this assertion," his spokeswoman told Mirror Online.

Just hours before the story emerged, Zoe and Brendan were splashing their Friday date night all over Instagram.

Sharing a snap of two margaritas to her account, Zoe captioned it: "Friday night is date night! Let’s go @brendancoleinsta . #Tequilamakesmehappy #datenight #summeriscoming #fridaynightgiggles #margarita #lifestyle #letsgo ."

Both she and Brendan have put on a united front since the Jenna-Lee pictures were published, although not all of their fans are buying it.

Under one photo of Zoe pushing baby Dante in his pram, which Brendan had captioned "Another gorgeous pic from yesterday. @thezoec and the boy!", one follower wrote: "Portraying the United family after ten media stories. So translucent."

And when Brendan posted a loved-up pic of them visiting Nether Winchendon House, where they married in 2010, a fan wrote: "Hmmmm anything to do with the recent press articles."
