GLAMOUR girl Jess Impiazzi married England rugby bad boy Denny Solomona in a secret wedding, The Sun on Sunday can reveal.
The reality TV favourite got hitched to the hunky winger in the same tiny Las Vegas chapel where Britney Spears tied the knot, without telling her family or friends.
But in an exclusive interview before going into the Celebrity Big Brother house, Jess told how their romance was in ruins just months after their whirlwind wedding — and that they are now to divorce.
Speaking to the Sun on Sunday, Jess, 28, said: “Denny was the love of my life and the man I thought I was destined to have children with.
“When he got down on one knee there was never a doubt about saying yes.
“I thought we would have a normal wedding, but before I could blink we were walking down the aisle in the same place Britney got married.
“I was so happy. But when we got back to England he got back into bad old habits and started going out partying again.
“By last summer I simply could not take it any more and we broke up.
“Now I’m waiting for our divorce papers to come through.”
Jess kept her marriage in November 2016 secret from everyone despite posting pictures of Denny’s romantic proposal.
She later confessed to her mum Debbie that she had walked down the aisle at the Little White Wedding Chapel.
Jess only revealed her split from Denny, 24, days before the CBB launch this month, although she booted him out of their home in August last year.
Viewers of the Channel 5 show this week saw Jess reduced to tears by former Tory MP Ann Widdecombe, 70, who berated her for laughing at male housemates experiencing simulated labour pain.
They also clashed over Jess’s admission that she did not vote in the EU referendum. This series of CBB is celebrating the 100th year of women having the vote.
Jess, who rose to fame on MTV’s Ex On The Beach, started dating Sale Sharks ace Denny in 2015.
She said: “He followed me on Twitter and I sent him a smiley face — and I never do that. We started chatting and later I drove up to Leeds from Surrey to meet him.
“Denny took me to dinner and I ended up staying with him for a week.
“It felt like the perfect match. When Denny’s not being a doughnut he is lovely. He’s really funny and a great family man. He will make a great dad one day.”
Five months after they met, Jess moved to Castleford, West Yorkshire, so she could live with New Zealand-born Denny, who was playing for rugby league side Castleford Tigers.
In December 2015 they bought a house together in nearby Pontefract. But at around the same time the relationship became turbulent.
Jess said: “Denny is very shy but when he drinks he becomes over the top and stupid.
“We were both partying back then and when we were together it was fine. It was when he went out without me that bad things would happen.
“He would go missing and not answer his phone, and he would come home reeking of alcohol and with strange stories about what he’d been up to. It got to the point where I couldn’t trust him.”
Jess moved back south to be close to her mum, who lost her sight ten years ago when Jess was at the Italia Conti stage school in London.
The couple remained separated for eight months. But towards the end of 2016 Denny convinced Jess he was a changed man and had quit drinking. Jess said: “I still loved him and couldn’t imagine being with anyone else.
“In November 2016 he took me to Las Vegas and I was so excited about the trip. I’d no idea what he had in mind.
“On our first night Denny took me to the restaurant Frank Sinatra used to go to, Casa Di Amore. During the meal he couldn’t eat a thing, which isn’t like him.
“Afterwards he took me to the Bellagio hotel. By the time we got there he was visibly sweating.
“Suddenly he vanished. When I looked down he was on one knee. He was so scared but I said yes straight away. I was the happiest girl in the world.”
The couple began making plans for the big day but Denny said it would be a “nightmare” to fly his 100-plus family over from New Zealand and Australia.
Jess recalled: “As a joke I said, ‘We should do a Britney and just do it’. We laughed but then I said, ‘Go on then, dare you’. That’s how it happened.”
The next day, November 3, they walked down the same aisle as the pop star and her childhood sweetheart, Jason Alexander, did in 2004.
Jess said: “It was bizarre. It was the middle of the afternoon. I put on the white dress I wore to the Reality TV Awards the year before and Denny wore a mismatched suit — brown shoes, black jeans and navy blue blazer.
“It was nerve-wracking but romantic and hilarious. It was only after that I got a bit upset because my mum wasn’t there.
“We went back to the Venetian hotel, had a burger and went to bed as we were so tired from jet lag.”
Clark County records office confirmed the couple were issued a marriage certificate on November 4, 2016.
They did not go on honeymoon but bought a house together in Cheshire and got two dogs. But although they lasted longer than Britney’s 55-hour marriage to Jason, their relationship proved to be doomed as well.
In December 2016, Denny signed for rugby union side Sale.
He worked harder than ever to force his way into the England team and, last June, was selected to join their Argentina tour. But at an England training camp in West London in August, he and Leicester’s Manu Tuilagi, 26, were sent home over an “alcohol-related incident” after staying out until 4am.
Jess said: “I spoke to him at 8am and he told me everything was fine. Later he called me back and confessed he had been sent home. I was furious because he wanted England so badly and I felt he had ruined it.
“It was a reminder of what he is like when he goes off the rails.
“I had to ask myself whether this was the man I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.
“It was the toughest decision I’ve ever made — and it has broken my heart — but he’s not the one for me.
“I’m moving on with my life and I hope one day I will find Mr Right.”
