Gary is the younger brother of the Duchess of Cambridge’s mother, Carole Middleton.
He is 52 years old, and was usher at Carole’s wedding when he married husband Michael in 1980.
Kate and sister Pippa were bridesmaids at his first wedding, to Miranda Foote in 1991.

Gary has been married four times and has one daughter.
After first wife Miranda, Gary went on to marry second wife Luan in 1997, followed by third wife Julia.
He married fourth wife Julie-Ann in 2012.

Last year Gary pleaded guilty to assaulting his wife outside their home.
He was fined £5,000 and ordered into alcohol rehabilitation.
In 2009 he was allegedly caught offering cocaine to an undercover journalist in Ibiza, according to the Daily Mail.

Gary made his fortune in IT recruitment.
He owns a villa in Ibiza, called Maison de Bang Bang.
