The flag is up outside your house, you have your kit on, so what’s missing? Time to get our face painted in time for the match.
If you want to show your support for the England squad as they face off against Croatia in the World Cup what better way to do it than by wearing your team’s colours?
But how do you get it just right?
First make sure you have decent face paints – there are a few online, but it may be a bit late for that (unless you’re aiming for the final!) – there’s also kits in supermarkets that work just as well or you can mix up your own mixtures.
For the England flag cover your face in a layer of white face paint. Let it dry a bit before getting a proper brush – make sure it’s the right width so you can do this in one stroke. Then cover it in red face paint and draw a line from the middle of your forehead, on the hairline, down over your nose, and then down to the chin. Do the same from one ear to the other. Avoid your eyes!
Another idea is trying a lion – we’re Three Lions after all! For this one, follow the video above as it’s a bit more complicated. You’ll need yellow, orange, black and brown face paints.
It’s a little more complicated, but it looks great.
You can always do both together, as the video shows.
There’s plenty of time to have a go before the match which kicks off today at 7pm BST on ITV.
