Gemma Atkinson, 32, is about to take on Strictly Come Dancing 2017 on BBC after getting partner Aljaz Skorjanec.
The former Emmerdale and Hollyoaks actress announced she had signed up for the BBC One show in August.
She said on BBC Breakfast: “I’m looking forward to learning to dance. It’s so out of my comfort zone, even wearing heels is… I just want to challenge myself and do something I’ve never done before.”

Last summer she split with fitness trainer boyfriend, Olly Foster, after two years, but the pair remain close friends.
In fact, she credits the split for helping her get the incredible body she’s works so hard on.

Gemma, who is currently single, confessed on Instagram her real love — her two dogs, Ollie and Norman.
The Manchester-born beauty floods her Instagram with snaps of her pups, and mentioned how much she missed them while off rehearsing for Strictly.
She also wrote on Instagram: “I love all animals but there’s something about dogs that makes me melt. They are such beautiful, loyal souls and only want to make you happy. ”

She joined the soap as Carly Hope in 2015, but decided to call it quits on the role earlier this year.

Sadly for the former glamour model, she lost her father very suddenly 15 years go.
Speaking previously to OK! magazine, she said the loss how it motivated her to keep fit and appreciate life over the years.
She said: “He was only 52 – he didn’t smoke or drink, he ate well and he died of a heart attack.
“I don’t think you should fret about the little stuff but that experience definitely made me appreciate life more.”
