Good Morning Britain star Piers Morgan praised Ariana Grande for her performance during the One Love Manchester benefit concert on Sunday June 4.

The presenter previously sparked backlash after slamming the singer for “not visiting” her fans in hospital after the devastating terror attack at her concert on May 22.

During Ariana’s emotional benefit concert at the Old Trafford Cricket Ground, Piers took to Twitter to praise her for her performance.

“I thought Ariana Grande was wrong to fly off after #Manchesterattacks. But tonight she’s putting on a fabulous show,” he told his fans on Twitter.

The journalist had previously argued that teen sensation Ariana Grande should have stayed in the UK following the Manchester concert bomb after her show at the MEN Arena – which left 22 dead and 59 injured.

23-year-old Ariana left the country following the horrific terror attack on Monday May 22, and was reunited with her boyfriend Mac Miller as soon as she landed.

Ariana and her team then cancelled a string of her Dangerous Woman tour dates, and publicly revealed she was “broken” after the attacks.

Taking to Twitter, Piers praised The Queen after she visited injured victims of the attack at a hospital in Manchester, but admitted he wanted Ariana to do the same.

“Might have been nice if @ArianaGrande had stayed to do the same,” he tweeted.

And when fans pointed out that the singer would be traumatised after the attack, the host responded: “Probably not as much as those killed & wounded. She should have stayed to visit her injured fans.

“I expected better from her. Her fans have been decimated. Stay, visit, comfort.”

Ariana returned to Manchester this weekend, and visited her fans in hospital the day before she took to the stage for the One Love Manchester benefit concert.
