Gwyneth Paltrow thanks fiancé Brad Falchuck for showing her ‘true happiness’ following 'secret wedding'

The 45-year-old said she felt like "luckiest" person after celebrating with 400 of her nearest and dearest over the weekend.

Sharing a picture of herself on stage with Brad at the star-studded event at Los Angeles Theatre, she wrote: "Thank you #ryanmurphy for the most incredible evening to celebrate our love.

“There will never be adequate words to express our gratitude. @giambattistavalliparis I will never get over my gorgeous dress. @georgieeisdell thank you. @hairbylorenzomartin thank you. @teamsaltzman thank you.”

The mum of two – who was previously married to Chris Martin – continued: "Thank you to all of our amazing true and dear friends who came to support us.

“We feel like the luckiest people on the planet because we have all of you in our lives. And most of all thank you @bradfalchuk for the true happiness."

Following the bash, it was reported that the couple had in fact tied the knot in front of the room packed full of A-listers.

Practically the whole of Hollywood turned up with Jennifer Aniston leading the way followed by Kate Hudson, Cameron Diaz, Julia Roberts, Liv Tyler, Reese Witherspoon, Demi Moore, Gwyneth's mother Blythe Danner, and even director Steven Spielberg.

Fans speculated that it was a wedding after Blythe was seen carrying a bag from a well-known wedding designer Monique Lhuillier, while telly producer Brad arrived in a formal tux.

Gwyneth previously said she didn’t think she would have a “big” wedding, but admitted she had been enjoying the process.

She said previously: “I’ve never had a wedding before so even though I’m 45, I sort of feel like a 21-year-old.

"It’s kind of fun to talk about with my girlfriends. They send me pictures of dresses — they’re as excited about it as I am.”

It was also reported the couple would marry in the Hamptons later this year.
