Iain Lee has been spotted heading to work at TalkRadio without his neck brace.
Yesterday, the former I’m A Celebrity star appeared on Good Morning Britain in a neck brace days after claiming to have fallen down a well .
The talkRADIO star wore a thick medical brace around his shoulders and appeared to not be able to turn his head separately from his shoulders as he turned up to present a showbiz section for the ITV breakfast show.
But today, the brace was nowhere to be seen as he was seen shopping for groceries and grabbing a coffee as he headed for work.
The "injured" star even managed to raise a smile while joking with a female pal.
Meanwhile, he appears to have deleted his entire Twitter history before today.
Last week, he claimed in a series of tweeted that he needed to be ‘blue lighted’ by emergency services to his radio show after falling down a well.
Describing the experience as ‘traumatic and upsetting’ the TalkRadio host told how he had been alone and low on phone battery when he was finally rescued by emergency services.
Taking to social media, Iain initially told fans his Thursday night show would have to be cancelled as he’d ‘fallen down a well.’
"Sorry team. This is messed up. Tonight’s show is cancelled as I’ve fallen down a well. This is not a joke," wrote Iain.
On GMB yesterday, the radio host lashed out at the presenters who sniggered at his story.
He was unimpressed with co-hosts Kate Garraway and Charlotte Hawkins , who giggled as they told viewers that Iain had fallen down a well last Thursday.
To add insult to literal injury, GMB producers had placed a small wishing well next to him for a dramatic reenactment of the traumatic experience.
"Iain Lee joins us, but the skin of his teeth," Kate laughed. "He’s had a near-death experience.
"I don’t want to laugh, but he fell down a well. I just find it so funny at the same time."
Iain replied: "’Don’t want to laugh’. I was told this was going to be a serious discussion about well-droppers."
"Well health and safety!" Charlotte burst out.
Iain then revealed exactly what happened when he had the terrifying experience.
"I was making a wish, because you know I’ve had a bit of bad luck recently. I tossed a coin and I tossed it like that to go into the well, and it got stuck in the moss," he explained.
"So I put my legs over the well and held onto the rope to try and get it, and then I fell."
As Kate started laughing again, Iain gestured to his neck brace.
"It’s not funny," he snapped. "It took me an hour to get out of bed because I’m so stiff."
"So were you properly injured? I don’t want to laugh at your pain," Kate told him.
Clearly rethinking her original stance, Charlotte said: "I’m sorry we doubted you, we thought it was a… you know."
"I thought it was a prop," interjected weatherman Alex Beresford .
"I didn’t expect to be grilled like I was on Newsnight or something," Iain grumbled.
"You actually look a bit pale, Iain – are you in pain?" Kate asked.
"Yes! I’ve been down a well!" an exasperated Iain shot back. "The fire brigade came to get me."
It came after Iain revealed the shocking claim to his radio listeners last Thursday, apologising in advance for the show schedule being mucked up.
Describing the experience as "traumatic and upsetting", the former I’m A Celebrity campmate revealed how his phone was on low battery but he’d been rescued by emergency services.
"Out of that bloody well. Wet. Battered. Limping. But big up to the fire service," he tweeted after his rescue.
"Police car gonna blue light me to talkRADIO Incredible service from the boys and girls in blue. Thanks."
Iain later described himself as "embarrassed and damp", but hit back at reports the incident may have been an early April Fool’s prank.
