According to spoilers BBC One’s EastEnders, Max’s actions come back to haunt him after Walford residents turn their backs on the villain.
With several plots happening for Max and his family, it’s set to be a seriously dramatic set of episodes over the festive period.

Jake has been married to wife Alison Murray for 16 years now.
The couple met 23 years ago. Previously explaining their secret to a strong marriage, Jake told OK! magazine: “We obviously love each other a lot but also we’ve always wanted the same things.”
The couple are parents to Amber, 12, and Buster, nine.

In May 2015, Jake announced he would be taking a year hiatus from the show.
He said: “I have been at EastEnders for nine years and I feel the time is right to give Max a break — but it won’t be for too long as I shall be back next year to see Max face another chapter of drama.”
Max’s full return aired on Christmas Eve 2016. And Christmas 2017 is set to be just as explosive for his character.
