Jennifer Aniston's ex Justin Theroux enjoys day out with female pal in New York

The 46-year-old looked relaxed as they strolled along together in the sunshine.

Justin has been single since he announced his split with Friends star Jen in February.

He smiled as he walked through the busy streets with his friend.

The pair later stopped off for a drink and Justin’s companion appeared to be in fits of laughter at something Justin had said.

Since his split with Jen, Justin has been linked to a couple of big name stars.

Earlier this month he started tongues wagging after being pictured with the Parks and Recreation star Aubrey Plaza.

But sources close to the pair later told The Sun Online they were just pals.

An insider explained: “Aubrey and Justin are just friends and were simply meeting up to talk about potential work projects. There's nothing more to it.”

Another source close to Justin added: “It was just a work meeting, they've been friends for years and were talking shop.”

Justin and Jennifer announced their split earlier this year.

They said in a joint statement: “In an effort to reduce any further speculation, we have decided to announce our separation.

“This decision was mutual and lovingly made at the end of last year. We are two best friends who have decided to part ways as a couple, but look forward to continuing our cherished friendship.”

Justin’s outing comes amid reports he’s been busy “doing his thing” in New York, while his ex remains in LA.

A source told People: “Now, he’s apparently just enjoying the single life in New York and sticking to a pretty basic routine. He’s just doing his thing. He eats at the same time, goes to the same places, hangs with the same people.

“He's been hosting and attending a lot of different friendly gatherings. He is trying to keep himself around friends a lot more than he used to — he’s not at home thinking about his divorce.”
