Katy Perry has admitted she’s finally ready to move on from her feud with Look What You Made Me Do singer, Taylor Swift.
In a live stream chat with Arianna Huffington, the Bon Appétit singer opened up about the public conflict with her fellow singer.
Katy, 32, shocked after admitting she’s ready to “let it go”.
However, it seems the same can’t be said for Taylor who has seemingly made another dig at the Swish Swish star in her new music video for Look What You Made Me Do.

Despite things getting a little awkward previously when Katy dated Taylor’s ex, John Mayer, it all allegedly kicked off in 2014 as they both embarked on tours.
After dancer Lockhart Brownlie spoke out with claims that Katy’s team had pulled him and two other dancers from under Taylor’s feet, things really erupted.
When the trio left Taylor’s tour, he later spoke to newspaper The Examiner to offer an explanation: “Obviously we were with Katy for two and a half years, she’s like family to us. So we were, like, ‘Absolutely’. We weren’t really dancing in Taylor’s tour anyway, so I had got a little bored and I really wanted to do a promo tour.”
And voilà, the famous feud was born.

Both singers have both indirectly addressed the fall out.
In 2014, Taylor said in a Rolling Stone interview: “She did something so horrible. I was like, ‘Oh, we’re just straight-up enemies’. And it wasn’t even about a guy! It had to do with business.”
Katy took to Twitter after it came out with the warning: “Watch out for the Regina George in sheep’s clothing.”

And when Taylor released Bad Blood in 2014, everyone assumed it was about Orlando Bloom’s ex.
Lyrics include lines like: “Did you think we’d be fine? Still got scars on my back from your knife.
“So don’t think it’s in the past, these kinda wounds they last and they last. Now did you think it all through? All these things will catch up to you.
“And time can heal but this won’t, so if you’re coming my way, just don’t.”
More recently, Katy brought out new single Swish Swish, featuring another one of the country singers enemies, Nicki Minaj.
Lyrics read: “Don’t you come for me, no not today. You’re calculated.”
And: “So keep calm, honey, I’ma stick around… Funny my name keeps comin’ outcho mouth.”

Their feud made headlines again recently after Taylor was branded as ‘petty’ for her latest move.
After previously pulling all her music from Spotify, the 27 year old decided to re-release her tracks after three years.
And she happened to have picked her timing very well. Taylor re-released her music on the streaming service on the same day that Katy’s highly anticipated album Witness was dropped. Ouch.

But it looks like, especially after recent tragedies in the world, Katy has gained a little perspective.
The singer, who recently supported her friend Ariana Grande at her One Love Manchester concert to raise money for family members and victims of the recent MEN terror attack, said it’s time to move on.
The talented songstress said: “I’m ready to let it go. Absolutely, 100 per cent… I forgive her, and I’m sorry for anything I ever did, and I hope the same from her, and I think it’s actually… I think it’s time.”
“There are bigger fish to fry, and there are bigger problems in the world.

“I love her and I want the best for her, and I think she’s a fantastic songwriter, and like, I think that if we both, her and I, can be representatives of strong women that come together despite their differences, I think the whole world is going to go, like, ‘Yeah, we can do this.'”
She concluded: “I really, truly, want to come together, and in a place of love and forgiveness, and understanding and compassion.”

Taylor’s Look What You Made Me Do
It seems the feud as we know it is far from over as fans conclude the country singer’s new track apparently makes numerous digs at Katy.
According to fans, the new song samples the Mean Girls soundtrack, a subtle dig after Orlando Bloom’s ex is thought to have called her a “Regina George in sheep’s clothing”.
Will it ever end!?
