Lamar Odom is ready for a new life overseas.
The former NBA star and ex-husband to Khloé Kardashian announced in a since-deleted Instagram post on Tuesday that he’s packing up and moving to Shenzhen, China.
“Happy & proud to announce that I have a signed a global management contract with my new @NinetyPlusOfficial family,” he captioned the snap of him standing next to who are presumably his business partners.
The company, according to its website, hosts concerts and music festivals and also manages intellectual property for entertainers.
Some of the celebrity partners already connected with the company include singer Akon and R&B producer and star Teddy Riley.
“I feel so happy to be writing new episodes of my life in another country that’s so huge in basketball,” Odom, 38, said. “I am grateful to have you all as my supporting fans through my ups and downs.”
It’s been a rocky several years for Odom.
He infamously was found unconscious at a Nevada brothel back in November 2016. He fell into a coma for three days and eventually entered rehab for substance abuse in December 2016.
He struggled through his recovery phase and officially severed ties with Kardashian after seven years of marriage at the end of 2016.
