The One Direction star welcomed his first child, baby Bear, with girlfriend Cheryl, earlier this year.
He then released his debut single, Strip That Down, back in May.
And it seems the 23 year old now has something else very special to celebrate – as his solo track was certified as Platinum.
Zayn Malik’s pal rushed to Twitter to share the news with his 26.4million followers – but in his haste he made a slightly awkward gaffe.
“So incredible to see stop that down hitting platinum in so many places thank you so much you guys are incredible,” he told his loyal fanbase.
“You have outdone all my dreams I dreamt from my bedroom when I started this as a 14 year old boy I never expect to come this far thank you

“Sorry for the auto correct. Strip not stop. That’s a whole different song.”
And fans were quick to pick up on Liam’s faux pas.
“You know I love it when the music stops so come stop that down for me baby,” one wrote.

“Hahahaha that’s was so funny. Thanks autocorrect,” another replied.
“We’re never going to let you live this down,” a third commented.
While a fourth joked: “We want Stop That Down to be a single too.”

Liam’s post comes after girlfriend Cheryl sent fans into meltdown, as she broke her Instagram silence.
The former Girls Aloud star has stayed quiet on social media since giving birth to son Bear in March.
But Sarah Harding’s former bandmate recently unveiled her post-baby body in her first full-length photo after welcoming the little one.
Dressed casually in a white jumper and jeans, the 34 year old looked fresh-faced with minimal make-up.
Her trademark dark locks were tumbling round her shoulders as she leant against a board for photoshoot.
“Back at it @lorealmakeup #worthit,” she told her 3.5million Instagram fans.
