The brunette beauty, who exclusively unveiled her pregnancy for the first time just days before, is expecting a little one with her former boyfriend Nathan Massey. The pair were crowned winners of the show last year.
And speaking exclusively to OK! Magazine, the model admitted her joyous news came after a very upsetting period in her life.
She said: “Me and Nathan would always speak about kids, we said maybe when we’re 30, but sometimes life doesn’t go to plan.

“It was overwhelming and came when my family was going through a hard time.
“We found out I was pregnant three days after my 19-year-old cousin passed away from cancer.”
At the time, Cara took to Twitter to thank her friends after hearing the heartbreaking news her 19-year-old cousin died on March 29.

“This has been the hardest week of mine and my family’s life thank you to everyone who’s been there [heart] you know who you are,” she wrote to her 279k followers.
Her cousin had sadly been ill for two years – and Cara described his death as “awful”.
She continued: “I’m not superstitious, but my family and I are looking at it like we’ve been given a new life after one was taken away.
