Manchester United target Fred has flown to England as his potential £50m move to the Red Devils nears.
The 25-year-old is expected to complete his switch from Shakhtar Donetsk in the coming weeks, with United hoping to tie up the deal for the Brazilian midfielder ahead of the World Cup.
As posted on his Instagram Story, Fred has flown to London to train with his nation in the capital ahead of their friendly against Croatia at Anfield on Saturday, and United will hope to use his presence in the country to their advantage.
The former Internacional star is represented by the ex-Arsenal midfielder Gilberto Silva , and he came close to a move to Manchester City in January.
But speaking at a press conference in Rio last week, Fred confirmed that he’s been in "advanced talks" with United.
"There have been some advanced talks since January, when I almost went to Man City," he said.
"Soon after City, United talked to Shakhtar and my agents. And today, if I’m not mistaken, there is very strong interest from United."
Despite the interest though, Fred says his only focus is Russia.
"My head is in the World Cup," he continued.
"My agents are taking care of it. I try to do my work in the field and leave the extra field for Gilberto Silva. My staff are looking at what is best for me.
"Who knows? After the World Cup I can make the best choice for me."
