Millie Mackintosh shows no hard feelings over Royal Wedding snub

It has been a weekend of no regrets for Millie Mackintosh as she was snubbed from the Royal Wedding guest list and opened up about her failed marriage to Professor Green.

But the 28-year-old reality star, designer and member of a confectionery company dynasty is not feeling bitter about either situation – as social media posts and interviews reveal.

The brunette beauty had been expected to be involved in the marriage of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle after she struck up an unlikely friendship with the new Duchess of Sussex.

There had even been rumours Millie could have walked into St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle as one of Meghan’s bridesmaids – however it transpired she was not only not a bridesmaid, but she wasn’t invited to the wedding at all.

Taking to Instagram on Saturday, Millie proved she was ready to support her American friend as she uploaded a snap of herself watching the Royal Wedding coverage on television.

A photo showed Millie’s dog, a pug named Mabel, dressed in a very bringing collar and looking up at a television screen showing coverage of the historic marriage.

On Sunday, Millie opened up about her own failed marriage to rap star Professor Green (real name Stephen Manderson, 34) and her views on her upcoming second marriage, to fellow reality star Hugo Taylor, 31.

"Going through a divorce is very painful and you learn a lot about yourself,” Millie told the Mail on Sunday.

"But it hasn’t put me off marriage and I’m really excited about marrying Hugo. I wouldn’t ever want to be without him,” she added.

Speaking of her divorce from Pro Green, she remained respectful, saying: "Sometimes it can be as simple as finding yourselves on different paths, and for us it was about respecting those journeys and each other’s wishes by parting ways. We have since both moved on. I only wish him the best."
