And her Love Island co-star, and close pal, Olivia Buckland was the first to congratulate the stunner on her baby news.

“Forever proud of my @Miss_Delahoyde,” she tweeted, alongside a heart emoji.

And Cara simply replied with a baby emoji, and a love heart, before swiftly deleting the message.

The ITV2 star confirmed her baby news in an exclusive interview with OK! Magazine – but remained adamant she would not be reuniting with ex Nathan following the news.

Opening up about the moment she found out she was expecting her first child, she revealed she had no idea she was pregnant until an appointment to remove cancerous cells from her cervix.

She confessed: “They have to check if you’re pregnant first, but I said to the doctor: ‘I don’t think there’s any need for that!’

“They did it anyway and a nurse came back and said: ‘You’re pregnant!’

“I was with my mum and we just looked at each other in complete shock. I went in for one thing and came out expecting a baby.”

Cara and Nathan called time on their romance in April, after an eight-month relationship.

But her former beau has vowed to support her through every step of her pregnancy journey.

“We’re still good friends,” she continued. “He’s going to be there for the baby and I’m making him aware of all the midwife appointments and scans, so he’s in the loop and so’s his mum.”

She remained certain they wouldn’t reunite just for the baby, adding: “It’s a shame and a sad situation.

“I know a lot of people will think, well you’re going to have a baby together so just stay together – but we’re not going to do that just to look like the perfect couple.”
