Conrad Hilton has been ordered to undergo psychiatric evaluation following a court appearance [Splash News]
The 23-year-old appeared before a court in Los Angeles on May 10 facing charges of grand theft auto for stealing a car, plus, violating a restraining order against him by ex-girlfriend Hunter Daily Salomon.
When arrested he also verbally assaulted police officers in a foul-mouthed tirade that included racial and homophobic slurs.
Conrad additionally accused law enforcement of groping him as they attempted to detain him, shouting: “I’m Conrad motherf***ing Hilton, don’t you forget it.

After initially refusing to leave his prison cell to attend court, the hotel heir’s erratic behaviour continued as he stood before judge.
First calling a court photographer “so f***ing gay,” he had a go at the judge.
Judge Mark Hanasono granted him bail set at $90,000 (£70,000) on the condition he is placed in the Menninger Hospital in Houston, Texas.

He was also ordered to check into Menninger, a psychiatric hospital in Houston, for evaluation and so that professionals can diagnose his behaviour.
Appearing irritated in a video taken during the appearance, he was advised by the judge that he should take the charges “very seriously”.
Conrad’s disrespectfully responded: “I will never your honour. I am sorry to the court and the entire state for disrespecting the court. I do not have sex with hookers and I’m sorry.”

His mother and father Kathy, 58, and Rick Hilton, 61, were in the courtroom along with Conrad’s older brother Baron Hilton II, 27.
Older sisters Paris, 36, and Nicky, 33, did not attend.
Hilton was represented by Robert Shapiro whose high-profile clients have included OJ Simpson and Phil Spector.
