Royal toddlers Prince George and Princess Charlotte will lead a crew of 10 bridesmaids and page boys accompanying Meghan Markle and Prince Harry down the aisle on their big day, Kensington Palace announced Wednesday.
The two young royals, four-year-old George —who is third in line to the throne – and his little sister Charlotte, 3, are the children of Duchess Kate and Prince William. Their newborn Prince Louis won’t be at the May 19th wedding at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle.
As is customary, the wedding party is made up of posh tots, and the ones at this royal wedding are all under the age of 10.
Princess Charlotte will be joined in her duties by Prince Harry’s goddaughters, three-year-old Florence van Cutsem and two-year-old Zalie Warren, and Meghan Markle’s goddaughters, Remi Litt, 6, and Rylan Litt, 7, who are the spawn of LA-based brand curator and bag designer Benita Litt.
Also in the party is four-year-old Ivy Mulroney – the daughter of Toronto-based stylist Jessica Mulroney – who has advised Markle on bridal gowns both for her character on “Suits” and the royal wedding. Her dad Benedict Mulroney is the son of former Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney.
Joining George are Jasper Dyer, 6, the son of Harry’s old friend Mark Dyer, as well as Mulroney’s seven-year-old twins Brian and John.
Kensington Palace hasn’t said what the cute crew will wear on the big day.
Charlotte and George have been in a wedding party before – at the nuptials of their aunt Pippa Middleton to hedge fund manager James Matthews last May.
Their dad will serve as 32-year-old Prince Harry’s best man, while Markle, 36, has opted not to have a maid-of-honor because she couldn’t pick just one gal pal out of her “close-knit circle of friends.”
It’s still unclear who will walk her down the aisle, since her dad announced he’d be bowing out due to problems with his ticker.
