We’re so used to royal and A-listers flying around the world in first class, or private jet, so it will no doubt be a surprise to many that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle went for a budget option.
The newly engaged couple are said to have been on the 9.55am British Airways flight on New Year’s Eve from Heathrow to Nice.
In an attempt to go unnoticed by fellow passengers, the pair reportedly boarded the flight early and headed straight to the back of the plane, next to the rear toilets.

According to The Mail 36 year old Meghan and 33 year old Harry took up three rows of economy seats, on both sides of the aisle, despite there being only themselves and three “edgy and nervous” bodyguards in their party.
The publication claims that two heavily armed officers from the French border police were waiting for the royal and his fiancé as they disembarked, ready to quickly whisk them out through the VIP area.
This isn’t the first time that the pair have ditched travelling in a higher level of luxury, for a less glamorous option.

In August Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were spotted on the Heathrow Express train after romantic their African getaway.
On their way home from the airport, the couple apparently opted to get the Heathrow Express train instead of an airport chauffeur.
Fellow commuters told The Mirror of how they saw the pair sat together in first class on the train home, passing the time by reading magazines.

The couple’s holiday comes as Meghan Markle’s dad was “extremely hurt” by Prince Harry claiming the royals are “the family she never had.”
The Suits actress’ estranged sister hit back at Prince Harry over the same comments that he same during his BBC Radio 4 Today programme.
The royal and his fiancé have confirmed the date and location of their royal wedding, which will take place in May 2018.
