Procol Harum To Play London’s Palladium With Orchestra

Procol Harum will perform their 1972 live album …Edmonton… in its entirety at London’s Palladium venue on October 9, where they will be backed by a full symphony orchestra and chorus. The show will also feature some of the band’s greatest hits and rarities.

The original live album, Procol Harum Live: In Concert With The Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, was recorded at the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium in Edmonton, Canada in November 1971. The album peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard Top 200 album chart and is Procol Harum’s best-selling album in their 50+ year history.

Tickets for the special one-off show are priced between $37-$92. Pre-sale tickets went on sale yesterday, while sales to the general public begin today through the Ticketmaster website.
