She recently announced her retirement from television.
And, clearly, Judy Finnigan is enjoying time away from the studios – as she proved by stepping-out with husband Richard Madeley, this week.
The pair were spotted in London’s Hampstead on Friday, where they cut relaxed figures on a casual day-out.
Linking arms, the TV pair – who shot to fame presenting This Morning in the late 1980s – indulged in low-key shopping before stopping for a coffee break.
Together, they looked typically inseparable on the mini-expedition.
Opting for a summer style, Richard appeared youthful in a white T-shirt, which he matched with stone-coloured shorts.
Capping the ensemble with a pair of designer sunglasses, it’s hard to believe he’s 62-years-old.
Meanwhile, hanging onto his arm, 70-year-old Judy wore a black top with sheer detail and fitted trousers.
Failing to raise a smile, she looked rather stoney-faced as she clutched a bulging handbag whilst make-up-free.
According to their daughter, Chloe Madeley, Judy wants to focus on her "health and happiness" off-screen.
She told The Sun : "My mum is done with TV and if she went back to it I don’t think it would make her happy.
"She wants to concentrate on other things, such as her health and our family."
She added: "My dad is still in the mix on TV. I love watching him do what he does best and I love listening to him."
