Eastenders star Ross Kemp became a father for the third time, after his wife Renee O’Brien gave birth to twins on Thursday 28 September.
The 53 year old dad has updated fans that his newborn babies, named Ava and Kitty, are now heading home, by tweeting an adorable photo of him carrying them both.
The TV star, wrote: “Homeward bound. Very big thanks to all at John Radcliffe”, alongside the sweet black and white snap.

In the pic, although only the lower half of his head can be seen, the father of three looks proud as punch as he holds up his sleeping daughters in their carriers.
The twins’ trip home comes after their father revealed their names with a gorgeous picture on Twitter of his wife Renee O’Brien and their new bundles of joy.
He wrote: “Mum, Ava and Kitty doing well! Dad overjoyed. Thanks to all at the hospital!”.

Following the actor’s happy news, celebrities began to send him their messages of congratulations.
Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden wrote on Twitter: “Gorgeous. Congratulations. Beautiful names xx.”
Ross’ fellow EastEnders star Jo Joyner, who played Tanya Branning in the BBC soap, also shared her happiness at the news writing: “Congratulations @RossKemp Mr Impey delivered our precious babies 7 years ago. Double the joy for you & super mum #blessed#justgetsbetter.”

Meanwhile ex-husband of Billie Piper, Laurence Fox, wrote: “Huge congratulations”, alongside a lightbulb emoji.
Ross and Renee married in 2012 and kept their first pregnancy in 2015 a secret until their son happily arrived in April.
