Sanchez still absent from Man United training at stunning UCLA campus

Alexis Sanchez remained absent from Manchester United’s pre-season training at the stunning UCLA campus in California as Jose Mourinho prepares for their first friendly.

The Chilean reportedly has visa issues that the club are working to fix promptly.

United begin their pre-season schedule in the early hours of Thursday morning against AC Milan in the prestigious International Champions Cup.

Despite the World Cup, Mourinho has a strong core to work with as the Premier League opener with Leicester on August 10 fast approaches.




Anthony Martial and Luke Shaw have big seasons ahead with pressure on them to prove their worth after falling out of favour last term.

Angel Gomes and Ethan Hamilton are amongst a number of youngsters afforded the opportunity to experience a first team pre-season and the pair will hope to prove they are worthy of a squad place after Scott McTominay’s emergence last year.

After their pre-season opener vs Milan, United tackle Liverpool on Saturday night before a glamour friendly vs Real Madrid next week.
