SOPHIE Ellis-Bextor has revealed her surprise friendship with Prince Harry's fiancee Meghan Markle – and joked the actress could choreograph her first dance to her hit Murder On The Dancefloor.
The popstar, 38, let slip she was a "big fan" of the royal couple after they previously confessed they admired her music, with Meghan, 36, flagging up many of her tracks on her former blog, The Tig.
The ex Suits actress is also a close pal of Sophie's musician husband, Richard Jones.
On today's Lorraine, the mum-of-one joked she was a "big fan" of the pair in light of their compliments about her career and continued: "I have met her once or twice.
"She seems absolutely lovely.
"It would be great if they (Prince Harry and Meghan) wanted to do their choreography to Murder On The Dancefloor!"
In November, it was announced the smitten couple are engaged to be married in Spring 2018, after they started dating in October last year.
In her previous blog The Tig, Meghan had gushed about Sophie's music, including her hit Come With Us, which featured on one of her playlists.
She wrote: "Yes, sweet Sophie stole our musical hearts with the hit, Murder on the Dance Floor, a tune that has stood the test of time for our requisite late night grooving, but her new album Familia offers this beat titled, Come with Us that channels old school Madonna vibes like no other.
"Love, love, love! Bravo, Sophie! Love to you and the familia!"
On November 27, it was announced by the Prince of Wales that Prince Harry is engaged to marry Meghan Markle.
The happy tweet came from the Clarence House account.
Clarence House is the London residence of Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall, meaning the announcement was made on the behalf of Harry's dad.
It reads: "His Royal Highness Prince Henry of Wales and Ms Meghan Markle and engaged to be married.
"The wedding will take place in Spring 2018. Further details about the wedding day will be announced in due course.
"His Royal Highness and Ms Markle became engaged in London earlier this month…
"The couple will live in Nottingham Cottage at Kensington Palace."
In a statement from Prince Charles, it was revealed that Harry proposed earlier in November, and sought and received the blessing of Meghan's parents.
