Steph Davis wins fans praise after sharing ‘stripped bare’ single mum advice

Stephanie Davis has won praise from fans after opening up about the difficulty of single parenting.

The 25-year-old reality star is raising her son, one-year-old Caben Albi, along following the well documented breakdown of her relationship with the boy’s father, Jeremy McConnell.

Taking to Instagram stories on Tuesday evening, Steph opened up to fans who have fallen for the highly polished life she projects on social media.

Turning the camera on herself while dressed in milk covered clothes and with messy hair, Steph assured her fans that her life is tougher than it looks.

"I’ve had loads of messages saying ‘How do you do it? You seem like you’re doing this perfectly” This is just a video to let you know, that I’m not,” the single mum said.

Mocking her own “milk-stained’ appearance, the Celebrity Big Brother star explained that she rarely has time to herself while looking after her young son.

"The reason I look so shockingly tired is because Caben doesn’t sleep. At a llm really. He’s just gone down now – for how long? I don’t know,” she explained, as she shared some of her rare alone time with fans.

Revealing her ‘real’ life, Steph said that she often finds herself “praying” for Caben to sleep for longer so she can catch up on chores, and explained that the “dishwasher” and “washing machine” were both on at the same time so she could maximise her rare free time while her son slept.

“For all the single mums out there I know it’s hard,” she said, adding: "You want to cry when you’re constantly up."

Becoming more candid, Steph continued, saying: “It’s ok to feel really alone too. If he does sleep some nights I’m sat there and like ‘what do I do now?’ and I feel alone.”

The honest expose was a hit with fans, with many praising her on social media.

"Love your "stripped bare" insta vids. We’ve all been there at some point, I kept Nescafé in business for years,” one sympathising parent wrote on Twitter.

Another commented: "Loving them as well. I’m a very tired mumma and they give me life."

While a further fan begged: "Please do more."
