Strictly Come Dancing fans devastated as Kevin Clifton and wife Karen don’t dance together during the final

STRICTLY Come Dancing fans couldn’t hide their upset as they noticed Kevin Clifton and his wife Karen didn’t dance together during tonight’s final.

The pair are battling to save their two year marriage after their relationship broke down last month.

Viewers spotted the pair performed with different partners during tonight’s show-stopping opening number.

Last week viewers also complained the pair weren't dancing together however many claimed the apparent snub was more upsetting because it was the final night.

One tweeted: “Notice that in the opening number Karen danced with the ginger spare one and not Kevin. It really does look bad for them dunnit?”

A second wrote: “Noticed Kevin and Karen weren’t dancing together. Perhaps the rumours are true…”

A third commented: “Karen and Kevin not dancing together for yet another week hope they work it out.”

Another added: “I know why Neil's not dancing with Katya obvs, but pairing him with Karen when Kevin's right there isn't helping the rumours about the Cliftons.”

A fifth replied: “My mum just screamed ‘KEVIN AND KAREN AREN'T DANCING TOGETHER!’”

The Sun revealed the pair would be spending Christmas apart as they try to save their relationship.

A source said: “Karen will fly to New York and spend it with her family while Kevin plans to travel up to Grimsby to be with his.

“Right now they are just trying to get through the last two weeks of Strictly and then need some space.

“They will get back together after Christmas and decide what they are going to do.

“Right now their marriage hangs in the balance and their future together as a couple looks very uncertain.”

Karen opened up about their marriage last month and said: “nothing is perfect” when asked about their relationship.

She said: “We just need to keep pushing.

“Relationships take work. It’s not as easy as you think, especially being in a job like Strictly.

“We’re not a superhuman couple, we’re normal, so when things happen, we fight.”
