A woman turned up to her hotel in Vietnam anticipating a gorgeous rooftop swimming pool, but instead found an over-sized concrete.
Jenny Kershaw, from Manchester, recently visited Da Nang, a city on the east coast of Vietnam.
She found her accommodation on Booking.com. On the listing, the three-star hotel looks enticing indeed.
But when she arrived, she found a warped reality.

Of course, hotels always make their rooms and amenities as beautiful as possible. This, though, takes good angles and welcome lighting to new bounds.
People have been enjoying Jenny’s discovery. And others have shared similar experiences.
Comparisons to ‘Instagram vs real life’ and Tinder have been made.
In fairness, it is clear from the hotel listing that the pool is very small. It’s more of a Jacuzzi, really. But still.
Booking.com did contact Jenny.
And the holiday company told BuzzFeed: "Only customers who have actually stayed at a property are invited to leave a review and these are never edited in any way, as we believe it’s important for consumers to have access to the good – as well as the not so good – so that they can make an informed decision about where they book."
Booking.com said that if an issue is flagged and there are question marks over how properties are presenting themselves, adjustments will be made.
