Miller to be sacked by Rangers and Wallace suspended after dressing room bust up

Kenny Miller is set to be told that his Rangers career is over.

Veteran striker Miller, in his third spell at the club, was involved in a furious bust up with manager Graeme Murty after the 4-0 Scottish Cup semi-final thrashing by Celtic on Sunday.

Rangers’ club captain Lee Wallace has also been suspended for his part in the row at Hampden Park, pending an internal investigation, reports the Daily Record.

It’s understood Miller is raging with Murty’s handling of the game and vented his fury in the dressing room afterwards.

The explosive development comes after revelations that Alfredo Morelos and Greg Docherty exchanged angry words in the tunnel after Rangers’ latest defeat to their city rivals.

Miller’s wife took to social media after the hammering to have her say after the 37-year-old was left as an unused sub.

She tweeted: "Wow. Fact kenny is a big game old firm player but hey who am I to have an opinion.

"N btw he’s fitter than any1 I’ve ever met. Fitter faster stronger yessssss.

"Btw just so u know. Im always team miller. I love him and think he’s the best thing on this earth. Stop tweeting me coz I’m not interested!!"

Murty admitted after the game that there was "anger, emotion and disappointment" among the squad after their hopes of picking a first major trophy since 2011 were ended.
