When he’s not accidentally crushing fans with dodgy stage dives or writing songs about his former girlfriend Taylor Swift, Harry Styles is apparently holding onto something that Simon Cowell gave him.
During an interview on The Chris Evans Breakfast Show today (May 12), the singer revealed what Cowell gave him from his One Direction days, and it’s not the most pleasant of gifts.
“An anxiety problem,” he told Chris on the Radio Two show, to a room full of laughs.
Well, that doesn’t sound too great, the poor chap.
Harry is busy promoting his long-awaited solo album, and also nipped in to chat with his pal Nick Grimshaw.
Nick grilled him on whether ‘Two Ghosts’ was about Taylor as so many fans have been speculating, and he gave a non-committal answer that pretty much confirms it.
“I mean, I think it’s pretty like self-explanatory,” said Harry.
“I think, y’know it’s about sometimes things change and you can do all the same things… and sometimes it’s just different, y’know.”
Well, Grimmy wasn’t having any of that and decided to tackle it head on before he played the track.
“So here we go, the one about Taylor Swift,” with Harry screaming “ahhh, oh no!” in reply.
Harry Styles’ self-titled solo debut album is out now.
