Louis Tomlinson has finally revealed when his brand new solo track is on its way.
He’s collaborating with Bebe Rexha for his second solo single, ‘Back to You’, just like we all guessed he’d be doing – and the track, also featuring Digital Farm Animals, is out on Friday, July 21.
“Really excited for you all to hear the new single,” he wrote a few days ago, before following up with a picture of himself and Bebe on the Doncaster football club pitch and revealing the track’s title.
“Got a good feeling about this one,” Louis later added.
Bebe has also been teasing a new collaboration recently and, without naming any names, she made sure to express that she was VERY excited about it.
“It’s a really massive record,” she teased to Chicago’s CBS Radio’s Culinary Kitchen. “We just finished it and it’s about to come out in a month or so and it’s amazing. It’s probably one of my favourite songs I’ve ever been a part of in my whole career.”
However, eagle-eyed fans noticed Bebe and her management had started following Louis on social media earlier this year and put it all together anyway.
Since Louis announced the news, Bebe has been chatting with fans on Twitter about the new track, calling the singer the “nicest person ever” while she does so.
Elsewhere, Louis has opened up about One Direction’s hiatus and revealed he wasn’t on board with it initially as he was only just finding his feet in the band.
“In the last year of One Direction I was probably the most confident I ever was,” he told The Guardian‘s Observer. “And then it was: ‘OK, hiatus!'”
And then, discussing the talk the boys had about the hiatus itself, Louis added: “It wasn’t necessarily a nice conversation. I could see where it was going.”
‘Back to You’ acts as the follow up to his number one single collaboration ‘Just Hold On’ with Steve Aoki.
