You might think that with Nadine Coyle’s upcoming tour setlist featuring the songs of Girls Aloud plus new material created by the same producers, she’s given up all hope of a proper reunion.
Thankfully that is not the case, as she stated on today’s (February 14) Lorraine that she is still very keen on the idea of getting back with Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts, Kimberley Walsh and Cheryl.
“I love Girls Aloud,” she said. “And I’ve always had a really, really good time, so I would never rule it out.”
The singer added Coyle-y (see what we did there?): “We’ll have to see what happens,” before talking about her excitement for the potential Spice Girls reunion.
It’s interesting Nadine mentions that, because fans thought the spicy five-piece would never reunite, but five-and-a-bit years, a lot of money and the threat of ‘GEM’ made it all happen.
In the meantime, Nadine is flying the Xenomania-produced banger flag with the unemployment-ending ‘Go to Work’, the recent ‘Girls on Fire’ and an EP on the way
There’s also talk of an album and the possibility she might drop her London Grammar-inspired demos from a few years back online too.
If you want to grab tickets to Nadine Coyle’s upcoming ‘turr’ (as she would say), you can do so right here.
