Originally formed more than a decade ago, Portugal. The Man is currently experiencing their most success to date. Their single “Feel It Still” peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard Top 100 and recently earned them the Grammy for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
Hey, (wax) dummy, do we have a story for you?
We’re no stranger to dodgy waxworks here at Digital Spy, and any A-lister worth their weight in wax has been immortalised as a figure somewhere.
Madame Tussauds is usually known for its stellar work of capturing a star’s likeness, but only last year, the famous wax dummy emporium released a Beyoncé figure that looked a little more like Britney than the former Destiny’s Child singer.
Now, it looks like a case of “oops I did it again” as Twitter has unearthed an even bigger offender.
There are many Queen Bey models out there, but we think we have found the award for worst lookalike ever hiding at a museum in Niagara Falls.
While Ms. Knowles-Carter may not see the funny side of it, safe to say that the rest of us did.
However, fans of the 36-year-old have also taken to social media to slam the white-washed figure as a middle finger to her legacy.
The museum became the focus of a VICE article last year, but no one is quite sure whether this is the same wax figure or a different one.
Oh, and in case you thought Beyoncé was a one-off at an otherwise reputable tourist attraction, here are some more famous faces you may (not) recognise.
To “Bey” honest, we just think Yoncé herself is paying these museums off to make sure the figures don’t outshine the real deal.
Her father may have suggested that lighter skin helped the star’s music career, but we’re not quite sure this is what he meant!
