Offset Unveils Music Video for ‘Violation Freestyle’

The King Content-directed visuals finds the Migos member spitting his bars in a dimly-lit mansion, flexing his collection of jewerly and carrying money around.

After Quavo’s “She for Keeps” featuring Nicki Minaj, another track off label Quality Control’s debut compilation album “Quality Control: Control the Streets, Vol. 1” gets a music video. This time, Offset has unveiled music video for his solo track “Violation Freestyle”.

The King Content-directed music video finds Offset in a dimly-lit mansion as he flexes his collection of jewelry, carries money around and surrounds himself with a slew of towel-clad female models. “I just woke up to the money today/ F**k all that demon s**t, I’m about to pray,” he raps over the trap beats. “Yellow skin b***h and she tatted up/ I pick out a foreign, got options.”

Besides the solo track, Offset also collaborates with his fiancee Cardi B on track “Um Yea” on the album. Following the release of the track, Cardi took to her Instagram to share that she was nervous while recording the song as it marked her first-ever recording session with her husband-to-be.

“This was the first time I ever got in the studio with @offsetyrn,” Cardi wrote. “I did LICK way before he featured on it, anyways I was soo nervous cause he was looking at me like ‘Let’s see if she really be doing this s**t on her own.’ then I got in the booth. Had to show his a** why he has to put a ring on this finger.”

Offset is currently gearing up for his group Migos’ sophomore album “Culture 2”, which is due out sometime in January. Quavo recently shared on Twitter a minor update on the album, saying that the tracks off the effort are currently being mixed.

Kanye West was previously rumored to be the executive producer for the highly-anticipated album, but Offset shut down the rumors back in December last year during an interview with Billboard. When asked about the rumors, he told the publication, “Nah, nah, nah. Just wait on it.”
