The ‘Stranger Things’ actress joins Adam Levine and his bandmates to perform ‘Girls Like You’, taking over Cardi B’s part.
Millie Bobby Brown made an unexpected appearance at Maroon 5‘s show at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Sunday night, September 23. The teenage star reminded fans that acting was not the only thing that she could do as she joined the seven-piece band for a performance of “Girls Like You”.
During the performance, the “Stranger Things” star took over Cardi B‘s part and performed it like it was her own verses. Rocking an oversized denim jacket which she paired with a black shirt and pink floral pants, Millie spitted, “Not too long ago, I was dancing for dollars/ Know it’s really real if I let you meet my mama.”
Fans of the 14-year-old star must already know that this wasn’t the first time Millie showed off her rapping skill. She previously delivered a rendition of Nicki Minaj‘s “Monster” on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” in addition to spitting bars about the recap of “Stranger Things” season 1.
She once again showed off her rapping skill along with other “Stranger Things” kid cast during the opening of the 2017 Golden Globes. Shannon Purser, who plays Barb on the hit Netflix series, also made an appearance by emerging from a swimming pool.
Her appearance caused a social media frenzy among fans of the series at the time since Barb was taken to the other world through a swimming pool. Thus, many speculated that she was still alive even though it was already shown that she was killed by the Demogorgon.
