The ‘All of Me’ hitmaker performs a solo piano version of the song for The Art of Elysium’s HEAVEN fundraising gala, where he will be presented with the Visionary Award.

John Legend is known for performing various covers of hit songs and he’s done it again. The “Love Me Now” crooner has performed a solo piano version of Stevie Wonder’s “Signed, Sealed, Delivered I’m Yours” in a video that was released for The Art of Elysium’s HEAVEN fundraising gala.

The artistic clip, which was directed by Mike Rosenthal, opens in complete silence as Legend walks into a freight elevator. Once he sits in front of a grand piano and presses the keys, the music starts. Legend delivers a bluesy performance, jumping from low rough notes to smooth falsetto.

The Grammy Award winner even shows some funky dance moves as he sings, “I’ve done a lot of foolish things/ That I really didn’t mean/ I could be a broken man but here I am/ With your future, got your future.”

Legend will be presented with the Visionary Award at 2018 The Art of Elysium’s HEAVEN fundraising gala, which will take place on January 6. “Heaven is love, light and laughter,” Legend said. “I want to create an experience that celebrates love and justice, truth and light, and the joy that connects us all.”

The founder of The Art of Elysium, Jennifer Howell, said that the group was excited to present the Visionary Award to Legend. “We are so excited to celebrate John Legend as the Visionary of Heaven, 2018,” she said. “To honor John as a husband, father and artist is incredibly humbling. The light and love that John is creating through his vision is needed in our world now. More than ever, John represents the ideals of The Art of Elysium. Using his art as a catalyst for change, John illuminates truth, joy and the love for humanity.”

The group will also present the Spirit of Elysium Award to actress Shanola Hampton at the upcoming gala.
