Zara Larsson has dropped the music video for ‘Don’t Let Me Be Yours’, which she co-wrote with ‘Shape of You’ hitmaker Ed Sheeran.
The track ‘Don’t Let Me Be Yours’ comes from Zara’s album So Good, which reached number 7 in the UK charts. Her last single, also called ‘So Good’, featured Ty Dolla Sign.
In the music video, Zara is seen dancing around while a young girl follows her dreams of becoming a racing driver, from assembling her car using scrap pieces to taking part in the race and winning it.
Previously, Ed shared a snap of his and Zara’s song when it was released, writing: “Zara Larsson album out today. We wrote this song together and I love it. Check it out X.”
Earlier this week, it was confirmed that Ed has been working with former One Direction singer Liam Payne on his forthcoming debut single.
This wouldn’t be the first time Ed has helped new dad Liam out in the hit single (probably) department either, as Ed famously wrote the charity single ‘Little Things’ for One Direction, which went on to earn the number one spot when it was released back in 2012.
Ed, whose recent album ÷ broke all sorts of records, recently admitted he found the effects of worldwide fame challenging, revealing he lost himself during the early success of his career.
