Apple really wants you to watch “Planet of the Apps’

Apple is set to give its first episodic TV series an unrivaled promotional push on Wednesday.

“Planet of the Apps,” a competition series featuring Gwyneth Paltrow,, Jessica Alba and entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuk, will hit the Apple home page and be available exclusively on Apple Music at 12:01 a.m. on Wednesday.

The streaming music service has 27 million paid users, Apple said this week at its developers’ conference.

The series follows hopeful app developers on a journey to win $10 million in funding from LightSpeed Ventures Partners, which was an early investor in Snapchat.

Apple’s efforts in commissioning its own shows has been tentative so far. IN addition to “POTA,” from Ben Silverman, Apple has also acquired James Corden’s “Carpool Karaoke,” and exclusive rights to the documentary, “Clive Davis: The Soundtrack of Our Lives.”

Silverman is the former co-chairman of NBC Entertainment and the producer of “The Office,” “Jane the Virgin” and other shows.

“This show celebrates how hard it is to get apps made, executed and launched,” Silverman told The Post: “Apps have changed quotidien life.”

He citied UberEats and the PBSKids as two frequently used in his home.
