Pokemon Go continues to be one of the most popular mobile games on the App Store and has become famous for its special themed events.
Developer Niantic has announced it will be running an in-game Valentine’s Day event from February 14 to February 15.
Players will notice higher spawn rates of the Luvdisc character – recently introduced as one of the Generation 3 creatures released into the game.
For every Luvdisc that players catch over the two-day event, they will be rewarded with three times as much Stardust.
Luvdisc is an obvious choice for the most romantic day of the year. It’s a water-type fish Pokemon that looks like a heart turned on its side.
In the game word, it’s traditionally associated with love and romance.
If you’ve strayed from Pokemon Go in recent months, maybe this is enough to make you fall back in love with it.
