Everton will hold talks with Ademola Lookman over his future this week.
Toffees chiefs are due to sit down with the in-demand youngster and outline their plans for him under new boss Marco Silva.
Exciting forward Lookman, 20, is not among the players Everton are hoping to offload this summer but his future remains uncertain.
While the Toffees are reluctant to let him go, Lookman is keen to move on for a fresh start after struggling for regular football during his time at Goodison Park.
RB Leipzig are keen to sign Lookman permanently after he impressed during his loan spell with the Bundesliga side in the second half of last season to help them reach the Europa League.
Lookman, who joined Everton for £10m in January 2017, scored five times in just seven starts and four further sub appearances in Germany.
RB Sporting director Ralf Ragnick said: “If it were only up to us, then I would already know the answer.
"But it’s not only up to us – there’s no option in his contract.
"We’ll have to see what happens in the summer, and it also depends on what happens at Everton."
Tottenham and Southampton are also keeping tabs on Lookman’s situation.
Meanwhile, Wayne Rooney has agreed terms to join DC United.
The former England captain has been holding talks with MLS side for several weeks.
And he looks set to complete his move Stateside in the coming days.
Rooney re-joined his boyhood club last summer from Manchester United but struggled to find his best form.
