It was the first time the Dutch striker had scored after taking a first touch first since March 2017 – showing he is very much the definition of a target man.
The 28-year-old striker scored the equaliser at 1-1 for his side Sporting in their Primeira Liga clash.
Of the 68 goals he has scored since joining the Portuguese club, only four of them have now being scored by taking a touch first.
As Reddit user sct02 has researched, "the remaining 64 goals consist of 12 penalties, 27 headers and 25 tap-ins".
In addition to the goal against Belenenses, Dost took a touch before finding the net against Tondela in March 2017 and Estoril and Moreirense in September 2016.
There was even one game where he netted a hat-trick after having just 13 touches in the entire game.
At almost 6ft 5ins, it's clear to his team-mates and manager where Dost's strengths lie, and they all clearly play to those strengths.
RASH DECISION? Man United star to delay talks over new deal
And with 28 goals from 38 appearances in all competitions this season, the Dutch giant is clearly a huge asset to his team.
So with the likes of Bruno Fernandes and Gelson Martins providing the flair, Dost is free to do what he does best.
