CANADA striker Cyle Larin is set to snub a move to England or Turkey for Borussia Moenchengladbach.
The Orlando City star, who netted 44 times in his first three seasons in MLS, was on the radar of Leeds over a switch to the Championship and their push towards promotion.
Besiktas were also hoping to bring him to Turkey but the 22-year-old is heading for Germany.
He was seen watching Moenchengladbach’s match against Bayern Munich on November 25 ahead of his move to Europe.
And they have moved ahead of Besiktas and Leeds in the race to land him.
Moenchengladbach have a good record of bringing through young talent and top-flight football should lure him to Bundesliga.
Larin hit double figures for goals in his three seasons in the MLS, which has sparked interest in Europe.
Besiktas were expected to move for him as Cenk Tosun is close to joining Everton, who were also looking at Larin before switching their targets earlier in the summer window.
